Meet Mr. Saqib Virk : Owner Of Historical Haveli Of Sardar Bhagat Singh in Chak No 105 GB (now Bangay village) in Lyallpur (Pakistan).

Saqib Virk along with Hakoomat Singh Malhi (Nephew of Bhagat Singh) at Shaheed Bhagat Singh’s birthplace Chak No 105 GB (now Bangay village) in Lyallpur (Pakistan).

This Two Room Haveli was  Built in 1890 By Sardar Kishan Singh (Shaheed Bhagat Singh's Father).Till date, Haveli is kept in the  same condition .Interior is still untouched.



Late Ch. Fazal Qadir Virk 

This historical House Land was allotted  in 1947 to Ch. Fazal Qadir Virk (Forefather  of Saqib Virk) who resided, here, from 1947 to 1992.



After Ch. Fazal Qadir Virk's  Death in 1992, father of Saqib Virk -Ch. Muhammad Iqbal Virk (Senior Advocate Lahore High Court) looked after this Haveli. 

Indian High Commissioner Dr.TCA.Raghvan visited Haveli of Shaheed Bhagat Singh

Since 2016, Saqib Virk and his Younger Brother are looking this Historical Haveli  after death of Ch. Muhammad Iqbal Virk.


Every year they Celebrate Two Events  :

1.Shaheed Bhagat Singh’s Birthday Mela on 28th September (Date of Birth -28th Sep 1907 ).

2.Shaheed Bhagat Singh’s Martyrdom day Mela on 23rd March( Martyrdom Day- 23.03..1931).

Place has been thrown open to the public after its preservation.Daily around 60 people visit this place.

Apart from this Haveli,the entire village is being developed as a tourist place.The school in which Bhagat Singh studied is also preserved.
