On this occasion, Mr.Harmeet Singh Kalka informed that soon she will be assigned a big responsibility to make her able to serve the community even more.

Manjinder Singh Sirsa Seeks Imran Khan’s Intervention in Abduction, Conversion and Forcefully Marrying of 13 year Old Christian Girl in Pakistan

             

New Delhi,  October 22 : DSGMC President Mr. Manjinder Singh Sirsa has urged Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan to immediately intervene in latest incident of abduction, forcefully conversion and then marrying of a 13 year old Christian girl Arzoo Masih in Karachi city of Pakistan.

 Mr. Sirsa said that it is shocking to see that 13 year old Arzoo Masih was abducted from outside her home when she was playing with other kids. Her captor a 44 year old Muslim man forcefully converted her to Islam and then married her. Her parents lodge a report in the local police station immediately but after three days of incidents police summoned her parents at police station and handed over conversion  and marriage certificate  which showed her an 18 year old girl and conversion and marriage was done with her consent.

Mr. Sirsa said that it is most inhuman treatment which the minorities are getting in Pakistan. Factory of abduction, conversion and marrying with Muslim men is running unabated. More than 1000 girls from minority Sikh, Hindu and Christian communities are abducted every year in Pakistan and governments at National and state level in the country are mute spectators to this crime against the humanity.

He urged the Pakistan PM to display his sportsman spirit and act against such criminals and their perpetrators who are ruining minorities in his country.

Suraj Singh Nalwa: Indian Government Should Take Initiative To Open The Way To Kartarpur Sahib

Due to continuous lockdown from March, normal activities were completely banned by the governments of all the countries. Even places of worship of all religions were closed to the public. Visit to Kartarpur Sahib was also completely banned by the Central Government. Gradually all activities have been resumed by the government. Even all the religious places across the country have been opened. But the journey to Kartarpur Sahib is still banned.While the road to Kartarpur Sahib has been reopened once again by the Government of Pakistan.

Bihar Sikh Representative Board Chairman Suraj Singh Nalwa has appealed to the Central Government that it should take the initiative to open the way to Kartarpur Sahib as soon as possible while respecting the sentiments of the Sikh community.

              राजनाथ सिंह की बदौलत मैमोरा गुरुद्वारे का मसला हुआ हल

बीते दिनों उ0 प्र0 के मैमोरा में गुरुद्वारा साहिब का रास्ता सरकार द्वारा बंद किये जाने को लेकर सिख समुदाय में रोष उत्पन्न हो गया। 

मैमोरा में 1958 से गुरुद्वारा साहिब स्थापित है पर एकाएक इसके आगे के रास्ते पर एयरफोर्स द्वारा खुदाई कर दी गई जिसके चलते यह विवाद पैदा हुआ। आल इन्डिया सिख प्रतिनिध मण्डल के अध्यक्ष एवं लखनउ गुरुद्वारा कमेटी के महासचिव हरपाल सिंह जग्गी से जब हमने बात की तो उन्हांेने साफ कर दिया कि यह कार्यवाई योगी सरकार द्वारा नहीं बल्कि एयरफोर्स अधिकारियों द्वारा आंतरिक सुरक्षा के कारण की गई। उन्हांेने कहा हम समझ सकते हैं और हर सिख देश की सुरक्षा के लिए हमेशा तत्तपर है इसलिए हमने इसके हल के लिए 14 अक्टूबर को स्थानीय सांसद और केन्द्रीय रक्षा मंत्री राजनाथ से मुलाकात की और उन्होंने 15 तारीख को एक बैठक कर मसले का हल निकालते हुए गुरुद्वारा साहिब में संगत के आने के लिए ना सिर्फ दो रास्ते निकाल दिये बल्कि उन सड़कों को पक्का कराने का कार्य भी तुरन्त शुरु कर दिये। 

सः हरपाल सिंह सहित मैमोरा गुरुद्वारा कमेटी ने इस कार्य के लिए राजनाथ सिंह का आभार प्रकट करने के साथ साथ देशभर के सिख समुदाय को अपील की है कि यह मसला हल हो चुका है इसलिए जो लोग इसकी आड़ मंे अपनी राजनीतिक रोटियां सेंक रहे हैं वह इससे गुरेज करें।

किसके सिर सजेगा-दिल्ली कमेटी का ताज?
दिल्ली सिक्ख गुरुद्वारा प्रबंधक कमेटी की स्थापना 1971 में संसदीय एक्ट के तहत की गई। दिल्ली कमेटी की स्थापना का मुख्य उद्देश्य यह था कि दिल्ली में गुरू साहिबान की चरण छोह प्राप्त स्थान ऐतिहासिक गुरुद्वारों का प्रबंधन ठीक ढंग से हो। सिक्ख संस्थाओं को सुचारू ढंग से चलाया जाये। सिक्ख धर्म का प्रचार-प्रसार नवीनतम ढंग से हो। नौजवानों को ज्यादा से ज्यादा सिक्ख गुरू साहिबान की शिक्षाओं पर चलने की प्रेरणा दी जाये। दिल्ली कमेटी के चुनाव संसदीय एक्ट के अनुसार 4 वर्ष बाद आयोजित किये जाते हैं। इन चुनावों में सिर्फ दिल्ली के सिक्ख वोटर ही हिस्सा ले सकते हैं। गुरुद्वारा चुनाव निदेशालय ने 2021 में कमेटी के चुनाव करवाने की तैयारी एक तरह से आरंभ कर दी है। निदेशालय द्वारा वोटर सूची में संशोधन का कार्य 22 अक्तूबर से आरंभ कर दिया जायेगा। वोटों में संशोधन का कार्य 22 नवंबर 2020 तक चलेगा। वोट आनलाईन व आफलाईन दोनों तरीके से बनाई जायेंगी।

दिल्ली कमेटी में किसकी बनेगी सरकार
2021 के दिल्ली सिक्ख गुरुद्वारा प्रबंधक कमेटी के चुनावों में किसकी सरकार बनेगी। इसके लिए दिल्ली के सिक्खों में अभी से अटकलों का बाजार गर्म हो गया है। इन चुनावों में मुख्य तौर पर शिरोमणी अकाली दल (बादल), शिरोमणी अकाली दल (दिल्ली), जग आसरा गुरू ओट (जागो), पंथक अकाली दल, आम अकाली दल, नेशनल अकाली दल, भाई रणजीत सिंह जी पार्टीे व अन्य अनेकों छोटी-मोटी पार्टियाँ अपनी किस्मत अजमाने के लिए मैदान मंे उतरेंगी। मौजूदा समय में दिल्ली कमेटी पर शिरोमणी अकाली दल (बादल) का कब्जा है। लगातार दो बार दिल्ली की सिक्ख संगत ने उन पर भरोसा किया हुआ था। मौजूदा कमेटी के अंदर भी समय-समय पर कई  तरह  के समीकरण बनते रहे हैं। पूर्व में स. मनजीत सिंह जीके शिरोमणी अकाली दल के साथ खड़े थे। लेकिन अब उनके द्वारा अपनी अलग से पार्टी बना ली गई है। करोड़ों रूपये के बजट वाली दिल्ली कमेटी के इतिहास में अभी तक ज्यादा बार चुनाव तय समय पर नहीं हुए हैं। लेकिन मौजूदा समय में लग रहा है कि चुनाव तय समय पर हो जायेंगे।

बादल दल पर दिल्ली की संगत पुनः भरोसा करेगी?
दिल्ली गुरुद्वारा कमेटी में 2013 से अकाली दल बादल सेवा में हैं हालांकि इस दौरान कई बार पार्टी बैकफुट पर गई पर कमेटी के मौजूदा प्रधान मनजिन्दर सिंह सिरसा, महासचिव हरमीत सिंह कालका सहित अन्य पदाधिकारियों ने बड़ी बाखूबी के साथ हर मुश्किल का सामना करते हुए सेवा को निभाया है। 

इस वर्ष कोरोना महामारी के दौरान कमेटी द्वारा किये गये प्रबन्ध और सेवा के जजबे की तारीफ देश ही नहीं विदेशों में भी हुई। कमेटी ने लंगर सेवा को निरंतर चलाया और केवल सिख ही नहीं बल्कि गैर सिखों को भी बिना किसी भेदभाव के लंगर दिया गया जो कार्य सरकारों को करना चाहिए था वह मौजूदा कमेटी ने किया।

कोरोना मरीजों को अस्पताल पहुंचाने के लिए एंबूलेस सेवा निरन्तर चलाई जा रही है। लोगों को सस्ती दवाईयां उपलब्ध करवाने के लिए बाला प्रीतम दवाखाना खोला गया और जल्द ही पूरी दिल्ली में इस तरह के दवाखाने खोलने की बात कही जा रही है। स्कूलों को लेकर कुछ परेशानी अवश्य चल रही है पर सिख बुधिजीवियों की मानें तो इसमें भी ज्यादा कसूरवार पिछली कमेटियां ही हैं जिनका किया मौजूदा प्रबन्धक भुगत रहे हैं। कोरोना के दौरान फीस ना आना भी एक कारण है पर फिर भी प्रबन्धकों की ओर से पूरी कोशिश करते हुए इस समास्या का समाधान किया जा रहा है जिसके सार्थक परिणाम आने वाले समय में दिखाई देंगे। इस सबसे प्रभावित होकर दिल्ली के अलग अलग कोनों से लोग निरन्तर अकाली दल में शामिल हो रहे हैं इस सब को देखते हुए लगता है कि संगत एक बार फिर से कमेटी की सेवा इनकी झोली में डाल सकती है।

"Mai Bhago Brigade":Girls Will be Enabled to Protect Themselves With Trainig of Sikh Martial Art

नई दिल्ली 21 अक्टूबरर; शिरोमणी अकाली दल दिल्ली स्टेट स्त्री विंग की अध्यक्षा बीबी रणजीत कौर द्वारा बीते दिनों माई भागो बिग्रेड का गठन किया गया था जिसका मनप्रीत कौर को अध्यक्ष बनाया गया था।

बीबी रणजीत कौर ने बताया कि स्त्री अकाली दल द्वारा माई भागो ब्रिगेड के साथ मिलकर लड़कियों को गतका सिखाने की मुहिम शुरु की गई है जिसकी शुरुआत पश्चिमी दिल्ली के संतगढ़ गुरुद्वारा साहिब से की गई। उन्हांेने बताया कि पूरी दिल्ली में अब इस मुहिम को चलाया जायेगा और ज्यादा से ज्यादा लड़कियों को गुरु साहिब की बख्शी हुई विरासत गतका की सिखलाई देकर आत्मनिर्भर बनाया जायेगा ताकि वह अपनी सुरक्षा स्वयं कर सकें। 

बीबी रणजीत कौर ने बताया कि पुरातन समय से ही यह प्रथा चलती आ रही है और जहां सिख युवक इस विद्या को सीखते हैं वहीं सिख लड़कियां भी इसकी शिक्षा लेकर हर मुश्किल की घड़ी में स्वयं के साथ साथ दूसरों की भी रक्षा कर सकती हैं। उन्हांेने बताया कि पूरी दिल्ली से उनके पास गतका सिखलाई के कैंप आयोजन करने के लिए मांग आ रही है और जल्द ही दिल्ली के हर कोने में लड़कियों के लिए गतका सिखलाई कैंप लगाये जायेंगे और समय समय पर गतका के मुकाबले भी करवाए जायेंगे।

DSGMC:Other Branches of Bala Pritam Dispensary Will Be Opened Soon

नई दिल्ली, 21 अक्टूबरः दिल्ली सिख गुरुद्वारा प्रबन्धक कमेटी द्वारा गुरुद्वारा बंगला साहिब में बाला प्रीतम दवाखाना बीते दिनों खोला गया था जिसको संगत ने बेहद पसंद किया और दिल्ली के दूर दराज से संगत यहां दवाईयां लेने के लिए पहुंच रही है।

बाला प्रीतम दवाखाना के चेयरमैन भुपिन्दर सिंह भुल्लर ने जानकारी देते हुए बताया कि संगत की बढ़ती मांग को देखते हुए कमेटी अध्यक्ष मनजिन्दर सिंह सिरसा और महासचिव हरमीत सिंह कालका ने निर्णय लिया है कि दिल्ली के अन्य इलाकों में कमेटी जल्द ही इस तरह के दवाखाने खोलेगे जिसमें संगत को बहुत ही सस्ती दवाईयां मिल सकंेगी। उन्होंने बताया कि नानक प्याउ गुरुद्वारा साहिब में दवाखाना का कार्य लगभग पूरा होने वाला है, बहुत जल्द उसे संगत के लिए खोल दिया जायेगा। इसी तरह से पश्चिमी दिल्ली में कार्य चल रहा है आने वाले दिनों मंे इसे भी शुरु किया जायेगा इसके अतिरिक्त गुरुद्वारा शीश गंज, मोती बाग साहिब और पूर्वी दिल्ली में भी इस तरह के दवाखाने खोले जायेंगे।

सः भुपिन्दर सिंह भुल्लर ने बताया कि कमेटी द्वारा गुरप्रीत सिंह सोनू ढोलकी को बाला प्रीतम दवाखाना में बतौर सीनीयर वाईस चेयरमैन की सेवा सौंपी गई है उम्मीद की जाती है कि वह पूरी तनदेही के साथ इस सेवा को निभायेंगे।

कमेटी के महासचिव हरमीत सिंह कालका द्वारा सोनू ढोलकी को नियुक्ति पत्र सौंपा गया। इस मौके पर कमेटी सदस्य विक्रम सिंह रोहिणी, ओंकार सिंह राजा, भुपिन्दर सिंह भुल्लर, सुखविन्दर सिंह बब्बर भी मौजूद रहे।

Balwinder Singh Is Released And Has United With His Family

A Howrah court on Monday 19^th October granted bail to Balwinder Singh, who was arrested during BJP’s Nabanna Aviyan on October 8.

He is released on a personal bond of Rs 2,500.

Balwinder Singh working as private security officer of a BJP leader, was arrested for carrying a firearm during the agitation where Howrah police had clamped Section 144.

Things started looking up after Blwinder Singh’s wife Karamjit Kaur ,Manjinder Singh Sirsa,President DSGMC and Prominent members of the Sikh community in Kolkata and Delhi had a meeting with the Director General of police at Bhabani Bhawan on Saturday17th October, during which the police assured the family of an early solution. The meeting was organized at the behest of Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee.

Video clippings of Singh’s arrest during the demonstration and the turban going off his head while police dragged him away went viral on social media, sparking a strong reaction from a large section of the Sikh community, who said police showed “disrespect” to their religion by “taking off” Balwinder  Singh’s turban.

Pakistan invites Indian Sikhs For Guru Nanak’ Dev's 551st Birth Anniversary at Nankana Sahib on November 27

The three-day celebrations, known as Guru Nanak Gurpurb, will begin at Nankana Sahib on November 27.

Every year, a large number of Sikh pilgrims from India and different parts of the world gather at Gurdwara Janamasthan Nankana Sahib, the birthplace of Guru Nanak, in Pakistan’s Punjab province to mark his birth anniversary.

However, the Covid-19 pandemic is likely to affect festivities this year.

VISA WILL EXPIRE ON DECEMBER 2

Indian pilgrims will be offered a five-day visa to enter the country upon the proof of a mandatory Covid-19 negative test, The Express Tribune reported.

The Waqf Property Board and the Pakistan Sikh Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (PSGPC) have also sent regular invitations and itineraries to Sikh societies, including the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee, for attending the festivities.

In view of the coronavirus pandemic, Sikhs from India will be allowed to stay in the country only for a limited period of time, with no extensions.

The special five-day Nankana Sahib visa will effectively expire on December 2.

“All pilgrims coming to partake in the festivities of Baba Guru Nanak Dev’s birth anniversary will required to observe and abide by all Covid-19 standard operating procedures throughout their stay, even after showing the mandatory negative Covid-19 test,” an official of the country’s Waqf board said.

NO STAY OR SHOPPING IN LAHORE

For the first time, Sikh pilgrims visiting the country will also not have the option to stay or shop in Lahore and be required to exit the country upon conclusion of religious festivities.

According to Satwant Singh, Indian pilgrims will be welcomed at the Wagah border on November 27, from where they will be taken to Nankana Sahib through a special bus service.

“The pilgrims will have access to Gurdwaras in Nankana Sahib and will also get to participate in the nagar kirtan (religious procession). At the end of which, they will be shuttled back to Wagah on December 1, to head back to India,” he said.

Jai Jeet Singh : New Maharashtra ATS Chief

Jai Jeet Singh, a 1990 batch IPS officer, has been transferred as new state anti terrorism squad (ATS) chief.

He has served in the state in various capacities, including long stints in naxal-affected districts and in Mumbai. In 2006 he went on deputation to the Government of India and served as Deputy Inspector General in the CISF for four years, among other assignments.

“Act of Violence” At the Gurudwara Singh Sabha of Washington in Renton

Five people were hospitalized Sunday afternoon after what police described as “mutual combat” at a Sikh temple in Renton.

Renton police were dispatched to a Sikh temple called Gurudwara Singh Sabha of Washington at 2:48 p.m., after receiving reports of a large fight between members of the temple, said Cyndie Morris, a public information officer for Renton police. Police were told beforehand that weapons were involved, but statements from people at the scene varied.

When officers arrived at the temple, they went downstairs where about 15 to 20 temple members were fighting with each other, Morris said. Police broke up the fight and Renton firefighters and EMS personnel transported five to six people involved in the fight to Valley Medical Center in Renton. None of them were believed to have life-threatening injuries.

One victim had a puncture wound, police said; a spokesperson for Valley Medical Center described the incident as a stabbing.

“This appears to be a case of ‘mutual combat’ among several temple members following a verbal dispute that escalated,” Morris said. “(It’s) unknown what initiated the dispute.”

Morris said the investigation is in the beginning stages. Police are not looking for any outstanding suspects and nobody was taken into custody at the scene.
