website and campaigns across media
Amritsar based e-mobility start-up eBikeGO on Tuesday11th August announced the appointment
of Indian cricketer Harbhajan Singh as its brand ambassador.
The cricketer
has come on board for one year to help promote the company as it looks to
scale-up by increasing geographical footprint, adding new customer segments,
and targeting new business use cases to widen the appeal for electric mobility.
Singh, who is
going to be the face of the brand, will have an active presence on company's
website and campaigns across media.
"A youth
icon Harbhajan will be a great influencer to help us reach out to young and
ambitious consumers. At the same time, the cricketer’s appeal cuts across age
groups, his mass appeal will come into play as eBikeGO widens its net and aims
to make electric vehicle adoption popular among not just young people or
techies," said T Irfan Khan, founder and CEO, eBikeGO.
“eBikeGO is a
new-age mobility companion, and its efforts in the area of clean and green
commute are commendable. I look at this association as a great opportunity and
as my own way of contributing towards sustainable mobility and a cleaner
environment in our country. Months of lockdown in India has led to drastic drop
in the levels of pollution. For the first time in 30 years people from
Jalandhar could see the Himalayas, and my dream is that this be our future too,” Harbhajan Singh said.

T Irfan Khan, founder and CEO, eBikeGO, added, “Harbhajan is a youth icon yet
his appeal cuts across age groups. We are excited to collaborate with him as
his persona fits well with the brand. His concern about the environment,
go-getter attitude and a unique ability to deliver all-round performance
resonates deeply with our brand . We are in the middle of scaling-up our
operations and looking to capture 10% of the electric two-wheeler market by
2022. At such a critical juncture, we believe our association with Harbhajan
will play a big role in helping achieve the goal of taking e-mobility to
masses.”Dr.Gurdeep kaur
