USA Man Accused Of Running Over Sikh Man Charged With Hate Crime
DENVER,USA—A man accused of running over the Sikh owner of a suburban Denver liquor
store after reportedly telling him and his wife to “go back to your country” is
now facing a hate crime charge in addition to 16 other charges, including
attempted murder.
Prosecutors said
the hate crime charge was filed against Eric Breemen on Tuesday nearly three months
after the alleged assault in the parking lot of the Lakewood store Lakhwant
Singh owns with his wife, The charges came after an investigation prosecutors
say was delayed by the severity of Singh’s injuries, his 65-day stay in the
hospital and coronavirus pandemic restrictions.
The announcement
from the office of First Judicial District Attorney Peter Weir said
investigators recently conducted their first in-person interview with Singh
with help from the FBI after Singh’s release from the hospital.
“This is a very serious case and another example of the challenges we face in the criminal justice system during this public health emergency,” Weir said.
The information gathered by prosecutors that led them to pursue the hate crime charge has not been introduced into the court record at this point in the proceedings and cannot be released yet, district attorney spokesperson Pam Russell said Wednesday.
A police
document laying out the reasons for Breemen’s arrest soon after the April 29
incident said that Breemen thought Singh, who wears a turban and uncut beard in
adherence with his Sikh faith, was an “older Arab.”
According to the
document, Breemen denied threatening Singh and said Singh had jumped in front
of his car as we was driving away from the store.
However, a regular customer who was in the parking lot told police a man Singh had been arguing with got in his car and accelerated toward Singh, who tried but was not able to get out of his way, the document said.

Ajmer Singh Randhawa :Delhi Based Sikh Blogger Alleges That The Delhi Police May Arrest Him Soon in Relation to One of his posts Against Amitabh Bachchan
Ajmer Singh Randhawa has been very vocal against Amitabh Bachchan and other Indian leaders as their role in the killings of the Sikhs in 1984.
Ajmer Singh is author of multiple blogs online and he is known for his posts against Amitabh Bachchan and other Indian personalities.
Yesterday, Ajmer Singh Randhawa shared that Amitabh Bachchan’s comment “THOK DO SAALE KO” was in relation to one of his posts, in which he wished that the Bollywood superstar Bachchan never recovers from COVID-19.
“Amitabh
Bachchan is a coward person when he got admitted to hospital showing symptoms
of coronavirus to publicize and promote the Nanavati Hospital, to which he is a
shareholder; I had sent him bad wishes which I posted earlier on my blog many
years ago.
He could never
face me on any stage; judiciary (Delhi High Court refused to accept my PIL in
2009) denied to hear me. Now he has come on the lowest level and threatened me
an appeal to his followers by these hatred words THOK DO SALE KO.,” Ajmer Singh
Randhawa posted yesterday.
In 2014,
Randhawa made a series of posts against Amitabh Bachchan. In one of them,
he exposed Amitabh Bachchan for the murders of Sikhs.
"Thok Do Saale Ko" :Amitabh Bachchan to Troll Ajmer Singh Randhawa Saying 'Hope You Die With Covid'
Amitabh Bachchan has reacted sharply to trolls in an open
letter he wrote from the Covid-19 ward in a Mumbai hospital. He penned the note
to Ajmer Singh Randhawa trolls who have been wishing his death due to the novel
coronavirus.
"They write to tell me... 'I hope you die with this
Covid,'" the megastar began his blog.
"Hey, Mr. Anonymous... you do not even write your
Father's name,... because you do not know who Fathered you... there are only
two things that can happen... either I shall die or either I shall live. If I
die you won't get to write your diatribe anymore, by weathering your remark on
a celebrity name... pity."
He added: "The reason for your writing to be noticed
was because you took a swipe at Amitabh Bachchan... that shall no longer
exist... !! If by God's grace I live and survive you shall have to be
'weathering' the 'swipe' storm, not just from me, but on a very conservative
level, from 90+ million followers."
"I have yet to tell them to... but if I survive I
shall... and let me tell you they are a force incensed... they traverse the
entire World... from the West to the East from the North to the South ... and
they are not just the Ef of this page... that extended family shall in the
flash of an eye become 'extermination family'!! All I shall say to them is...
'thok do saale ko'."

Sikh Organisations Ask Takhat Jathedars Not To Attend TTEND Inauguration Ceremony of Ram Mandir.
Amid emerging reports about the “Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerath Kshetra Trust” planning to invite Takht Jathedars for the inauguration ceremony of Ram Mandir, several Sikh organizations have appealed the SGPC appointed Takht Jathedars as well as common masses to not attend the inauguration ceremony of Ram Mandir in Ayodhya.
Khalsa League’s head Bhai Amrik Singh Ballowal said that the Sikh ethos teach
us to stand against the injustices irrespective of victims’ religion, caste,
creed or ethnicity. “Doubtlessly, the Hindu majority of India is forcefully
converting the Babri Masjid into Ram Mandir so every Sikh should refrain from
attending the inauguration of this temple,” he added.
Recalling the recent
gift given by the Islamic State of Pakistan to Sikhs in the form of Kartarpur
corridor, Ballowal said that the Sikhs should refrain from unnecessarily
becoming a bulwark of Hindus. “The Hindus of India destroyed our supreme Sikh
throne Sri Akal Takht Sahib in June-1984 and then subjected us to genocide,” he
said.
Raising questions on the Hindu community’s claim about the sanctity of proposed Ram Mandir’s land, Ballowal said that if the land of Ram Mandir was the holy one, then why the Hindus are collecting holy soil and water of holy Sikh shrines. “It’s just a trick to use Sikhs against Muslims,” he added.
“The Sikh philosophy teaches us to stand by the oppressed and meek people so we should live our lives as per the path enlightened by Guru Sahib instead of becoming a bulwark for the oppressors,” he said.
Ballowal further said
that it was very unfortunate that the Hindus are talking about taking holy soil
of Sri Harmandir Sahib to Ayodhya’s Ram Mandir. “Guru Sahib asked Sai Miaan Mir
Ji to lay the foundation stone of Sri Harmandir Sahib to set an example of
communal harmony for Sikhs but now we are on the verge of getting used against
community of Sai Miaan Mir Ji,” he remarked.
Likewise, other Sikh
intellectuals including Advocate Amar Singh Chahal, Professor Baljinder Singh,
Bapu Gurcharan Singh of Jathedar Bhai Jagtar Singh Hawara Working Committee,
along with the Sikh Coordination Committee based of New York, USA, have
appealed the common Sikh masses to stay away from these functions. “We have no issues
over Hindus performing inauguration work as per the standards of their faith,
however, there is no need for the Sikhs to take part in such celebrations,” a
statement by the Sikh Coordination Committee.
“However, we have issues when soil from Sikh Takhts is used to lay the foundation stone of the Ram Mandir. This can be used directly or indirectly to link Sikhs with the Hindus, which is not acceptable,” the statement reads.

SGPC Appointed Takhat Jathedars To Be Invited To Ayodhya For Ram Mandir Inauguration Ceremony
The SGPC appointed Jathedars of Punjab based three Takhts, and Jathedars
of Takht Sri Patna Sahib and Takht Sri Hazur Sahib, are going to face an
extremely tough situation in coming days as the “Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerath
Kshetra Trust” is set to invite them on the “Bhoomi Pujan” ceremony of upcoming
“Ram Mandir” in Ayodhya.
The construction
of proposed “Ram Mandir”, which is going to be established after demolishing
Babari Masjid, is going to kick off on August 5. Bhoomi Pujan is a ceremony
that will be performed to kick off the inauguration work of building the Ram
Mandir.
Already, a few
sections of the Sikh community have been in talks with Ram Mandir Bhoomi Pujan,
where a Delegation headed by Baba Pritam Singh met with the Vishwa Hindu
Parishad (VHP) in regards to laying the foundation stone at Ayodhya. Baba
Pritam Singh and his jatha met with VHP leaders on July 28 and handed over the
soil from the Five Takhts, for the inauguration ceremony.
In
November-2019, the Supreme Court of India had allotted the entire land of Babri
Masjid to the Hindu community in a very questionable manner, deciding upon the
case in a rather rushed manner. In contrast, the Muslim community was not
allotted even a single square yard out of the total 2.77 acres disputed land.
Interestingly,
the Supreme Court of India had addressed this in favor of Hindus by citing
“Guru Nanak Sahib’s visit to Ayodhya” in 1510-11 while the Babri Masjid came
into existence in 1528-29.
SGPC passed a
resolution condemning Supreme Court’s verdict on Babri Masjid
During the
general house meeting on November 27 last year, the Shiromani Gurdwara
Parbandhik Committee had passed a resolution condemning the Supreme Court’s
verdict in the favor of Hindu community over the disputed land of Babri Masjid.
The apex Sikh body had strongly objected over the references used by the
Supreme Court of India about Guru Nanak Sahib’s visit to Ayodhya for delivering
the verdict in favor of Hindus.

SGPC appointed acting Akal Takht Jathedar.
