Guru Nanak Modi Khana :Inspired from Guru Nanak’s Philosophy, Ludhiana’s Medical Store Avails Medicines at Wholesale Price

GURU NANAK MODI KHANA - Faculty Of Pharmacy in Ludhiana

                      Mr. Baljinder Singh Jidu
LUDHIANA, Punjab—To ensure availability of medicines to common people at affordable price, the Sikh Welfare Council has opened a Medical Store named ‘Guru Nanak Modikhana’ in Ludhiana. This Medical store has been opened in association with Gupta & Daughters.

Mr. Baljinder Singh Jindu
The main objective this medical store is to provide medicines at wholesale price so that the needy patients could be saved from financial exploitation.

A warm response is being witnessed towards this joint initiative of the Sikh Welfare Council and Gupta & Daughters to help common masses. Anyone can get medicines at wholesale price from this shop.
At manufacturing level, the cost of medicines remains relatively low, but it gets increased multiple times before reaching retail market due to advertisement and involvement of other intermediaries in the supply chain.

Legal Notice issued to Bombay Shaving Company for Outraging Sikh Religious Ethos by posting a Defamatory Advertisement

Legal Notice  issued to Bombay Shaving Company for Outraged my Religious Ethos by posting a Defamatory Advertisement "Bearodinator" a Beard Trimmer through Sikh Model.

A Gursikh is not allowed to shorn the hair from any part of the body. Hairs is one of the part of our Five Kakkars (essential to have/wear) for all Gursikhs. All over the world people who see some with turban and unshorn beard, moustaches and head-hair describe them simply as the Sikhs.

Sikhs sacrifice their life but are not ready to lay down their religious beliefs of our and others' religion. Sikhs always stand to save Hindu Religion practices and sacrifice lives to save hindus from wearing the "Janeu".
