Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Prabandhak Committee Chairman Manjinder Singh Sirsa has
welcomed the appointment of Gurjot Kor, senior executive of Ajit Publications
Group as a member of the Board of Control of Guru Nanak Dev University,
Amritsar and congratulations for the same.
In a statement issued Manjinder Singh Sirsa said that Ajit Prakashan Group has contributed immensely in the
service of Punjab, Punjabi and Punjabiyat. He said that Mrs. Gurjot Kaur
herself is a very big campaigner of Punjab and Punjabiyat, whose contribution
towards the mother tongue is much less appreciated.
He said that on being
appointed a member of the Board of Control of GNDU, she would be able to serve
the Punjabi mother even more and this belief is of the Punjabis settled all
over the world.
Mr. Manjinder Singh Sirsa also appealed
to Mrs. Gurjot Kaur that she should work in such a way that the foundation of
which would become a compulsion for other universities ;so that all contribute unitedly for the service & upliftment of Punjabi/ Mother toungue.
