20(ANI): During Weekend shutdown in Punjab, Amritsar Police distributed masks
on the new flyover constructed on the Tarn Taran road.
Irrespective of multiple reminders and awareness drives, people were
seen taking walks and were travelling without masks. Police not just informed
them to follow preventive measures but also charged them by cutting their
invoice. The step was taken to spread awareness for COVID-19 pandemic among
people as positive cases continue to spike in Punjab.
