Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee today said that the facts given by Public Works Department and Shahjahanabad redevelopment corporation of Delhi government before the court about encroachment in Gurdwara Sis Ganj Sahib are misleading and baseless.
Manjit Singh G.K. President of DSGMC and Manjinder Singh Sirsa General Secretary talking to the journalists in Gurdwara Sis Ganj Sahib said that they have got a case registered against Arvind Kejriwal Delhi CM, Satyendra Jain PWD Minister and Alka Lamba MLA from Chandni Chownk also director of Shahjahanabad redevelopment corporation for hurting religious sentiments of Sikhs and other serious offences in North Avenue police station.
G.K. said that the Tourism department of Delhi government has declared Bhai Mati Das Smarak as a heritage site and has also put up a board on it, and against that the government is taking directions from the Delhi High Court on 28 March 2016 to demolish the Smarak. G.K. added that to implement the orders Alka Lamba take meeting of different government authorities on 5 April 2016 and next day gives order to demolish the Smarak and structure of Hanuman Mandir.

Asking Arvind Kejriwal to seek apology from Sikhs G.K. said that the due to lack of coordination among two departments and poor administration of Delhi government Sikhs were made to suffer. He said that he had never seen such a working of a government where it first declare a religious site as heritage and then approach the court for its demolition calling it an encroachment.
