The Foundation Stone Ceremony : The beautification plan of Gurudwara Rakab Ganj Sahib

Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee under the dynamic leadership of President S. Paramjeet Singh Sarna, laid foundation Stone, today Morning ( 12th June ) at Gurudwara Rakab Ganj Sahib under its beautification plan.Several prominent dignitaries and thousand of devotees were present to grace the occasion.

Today's ceremony will be remembered as an extremely important event in Sikh history. It has a very special meaning because it marks much more than the beautification of a Gurdwara Complex. It also signifies the dedication to the preservation of spiritual values in the memory of Shield of Nation ( Protector of Hindus :HIND KI CHADAR); ninth Sikh Guru: Guru Tegh Bahadur who sacrificed his life for protecting the sacred thread of the Hindus ,for freedom of conscience and worship, and for the sake of dharma and righteousness.

"Give up your head, but forsake not those whom you have undertaken to protect, says Tegh Bahadur, sacrifice your life, but relinquish not your faith."
