We were coming back from Chandni Chowk on our Activa. My daughter was with me. It was almost 10pm, but there was good traffic all around. All of a sudden, two Bikers in Black dresses, on a Black bike, crossed our way. I just tried to balance my Scooty. But in that few seconds, the pillion rider, simply removed my Samsung mobile from my pocket & they rushed at a great speed, probably thinking that they have got an iPhone.
I approached the nearby PCR, but they looked helpless. They asked us to file an FIR immediately to be on the safer side. They offered to take us to the Red Fort Chowki, with a promise to drop us back at the same spot where our Scooty was parked. However, we moved on our Scooty & the PCR van showed us the way. I filed the FIR at the Red Fort Chowki. The Delhi Police looked so cooperative.
We reached back to our home by 11pm. It was really a SHOCK to me & my daughter, as we had never expected any such instance in the mid of traffic, and that too while driving. We immediately blocked our Mobile SIM, Changed the ATM Pin, changed all the passwords of Email & Social media accounts that were opened on the Mobile. Google showed that our Mobile was at Mujaffarpur around Chandni Chowk, though it was switched off.
