The Sikh Community of
the US is willing to invest in the development of Punjab. Eminent Sikh American businessman Gary Grewal told PTI
after the first-ever virtual meeting of the community with India's Ambassador
to the US Taranjit Singh Sandhu.
They have promised to
tackle the areas such as education and the environment. This statement was made
public soon after a virtual meeting was held by some of the eminent Sikh
figures. There were 100 eminent Sikhs who participated in this meeting.
They also discussed the
reopening of the Kartarpur Corridor with Pakistan. They said it's very
important that the vast Punjabi and Sikh Indian expatriates are engaged in
rebuilding Punjab and create a brighter future for the State.
